Israeli startups raise $9.6 billion in first eight months of 2026
Israeli startups raised approximately $9.6 billion during the first eight months of 2026. This total includes nearly $600 million raised in August alone, marking the strongest August for the sector since 2022.
Investment activity in August was heavily driven by AI cybersecurity. Major funding rounds included $140 million for AI security company Alice, $125 million for Zenity, $60 million for Corma, and $60 million for Oligo. Other notable deals included $50 million for travel insurance company Faye and $45 million for clinical trial simulation firm QuantiHealth.
While the 2026 figures show continued strength, the current pace remains below the peak investment years of 2021 and 2022, when the sector raised $25.6 billion and $15 billion, respectively.
