Israeli woman declared dead after 2009 accident gives birth to third child

An Israeli woman, who was declared dead following a severe car accident at age 17, has given birth to her third child. The delivery took place at Beilinson Hospital near Tel Aviv, the same facility where she was treated after the accident in 2009.

In 2009, a paramedic heard reports of the accident over the radio and diverted from his route to assist. After approximately 40 minutes of resuscitation efforts, the woman's pulse returned, allowing her to recover from her injuries. In a full-circle moment, her older sister, who witnessed the original accident, served as the midwife for the birth of her sister's third child.
