Issa Doumbia agent reveals Napoli interest during summer

Cheikh Sadibou, the agent for footballer Issa Doumbia, has revealed that there were discussions regarding a potential move to SSC Napoli during the summer transfer window. While Sadibou noted that the club's coaching staff and management showed interest in the player, no formal written offer was ever submitted, leading Doumbia to sign with Sporting CP instead.

Doumbia, who gained recognition following his performances with Venezia in Serie B, has since moved to the Portuguese side and earned a call-up to the national team. Sadibou expressed pride in the player's progression from Albinoleffe to Sporting CP, highlighting the club's scouting capabilities and its status as a competitive European entity participating in the Champions League.
