Issa Doumbia attracts interest from Newcastle, Juventus, and Roma

Several major European football clubs are competing for the signature of midfielder Issa Doumbia, who currently plays for Sporting CP. Newcastle United has reportedly joined Juventus, AS Roma, and Brentford in monitoring the 2003-born player.

Doumbia’s profile has risen following his performances in Portugal and a recent goal in the Champions League. Previously playing for Venezia in Italy, his recent move to Sporting CP involved a fee of approximately 20 million euros plus bonuses. To protect the player's value, Sporting CP has included a release clause in his contract set at 80 million euros.
