Issiaka Touré named starter for France Espoirs
Issiaka Touré, a goalkeeper currently playing for Aubagne in the French third division, has been named a starter for the France Espoirs team in their match against Luxembourg.
Touré, who previously served as the third-choice goalkeeper at AS Saint-Étienne, earned this opportunity following several roster changes. The promotion of Robin Risser and Guillaume Risser to the senior national team, combined with the withdrawal of Ewen Jaouen, allowed Touré to secure the starting position. His move from Saint-Étienne to Aubagne earlier this summer was intended to increase his playing time and advance his professional career.
