ISSSTE Hospital in Tlajomulco marks first anniversary

The ISSSTE Regional Hospital of High Specialty (HRAE) in Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, Jalisco, has marked its first anniversary. Since its inauguration in August 2025, the facility has completed 68,805 consultations, 6,834 emergency visits, 2,972 hospital discharges, and 2,386 surgeries.

The hospital has become the first public health institution in Jalisco to perform PET/CT scans for oncology patients. During the period from January 1 to July 10, 2026, the facility conducted 183 PET/CT studies, 552 hemodialysis sessions, and 250 gammagraphies.

Director Alan Ulises Solano Magaña noted that the hospital has expanded its services to include obstetrics and a hemodialysis unit. The facility features 250 beds, 63 consultation rooms, eight operating rooms, and advanced medical technology including linear accelerators and magnetic resonance imaging.
