ISSSTE opens new medical clinics in Hidalgo, Mexico

The Institute for Social Security and Services for State Workers (ISSSTE) has inaugurated two new medical clinics in the municipalities of Acaxochitlán and Zempoala, Hidalgo. These facilities provide primary medical care and general assessments without the need for prior appointments.

Each clinic is equipped with a waiting room, restrooms, computer equipment, an examination room, and a pharmacy stocked with essential medications. The clinics are staffed by a physician to ensure immediate access to healthcare for beneficiaries.

This initiative is part of a broader strategy to establish 10 clinics within the state of Hidalgo and 500 clinics nationwide. This expansion supports the Universal Health Service (SUS) goal of the federal government, led by President Claudia Sheinbaum, which aims to implement 12,750 healthcare spaces across Mexico.
