Issstezac members demand pension payments and legal compliance

Members of the Movimiento de Bases de Defensa del Issstezac are demanding that the Issstezac Institute and the state government comply with legal resolutions regarding pensions and pending payments. Representative Eduardo Dávila Rangel stated that the group is seeking pension increases for 2024, 2025, and 2026, which they claim were not applied according to the law.

The movement has also requested a formal payment schedule for approximately 40 individuals who hold firm judicial sentences regarding their pensions. Despite submitting documents to Governor David Monreal Ávila, the protesters report they have not received a satisfactory response and are returning to the courts to enforce their demands.
