Istanbul Classic Automobile Club holds seasonal farewell in Bodrum

Members of the Istanbul Classic Automobile Club (İKOD) organized a seasonal farewell event in Bodrum, Muğla. A convoy of 42 classic vehicles, with models ranging from 1949 to 1977, traveled approximately 5 kilometers toward Turgutreis Square.

The procession, which included about 120 participants, drew significant attention from local residents and tourists along the Turgutreis coast. Upon arriving at the square, the vehicles were displayed for public viewing, where owners answered questions regarding the history and maintenance of the cars.

Cüneyt Karpuzoğlu, President of the Istanbul Classic Automobile Club, noted that the group traveled from Istanbul to participate in the annual summer closing tradition. He mentioned that while the classic car market varies, some vehicles in their collection are valued between $30,000 and $250,000, with the most expensive car at the event valued at approximately $150,000.
