Istanbul doctor hospitalized after falling from Kağıthane terrace

A neurology doctor, Alime Özge K., was hospitalized after falling from a fourth-floor terrace in the Kağıthane district of Istanbul. The incident occurred on a Thursday morning at the residence of her partner, an attorney named Özgür Y.

According to reports, an argument may have taken place between the two prior to the fall. Security footage has emerged showing the doctor hitting a tree before landing on the sidewalk. Özgür Y. provided a statement to police, claiming he attempted to catch her as she ran toward the terrace, but failed.

Alime Özge K. was initially treated in intensive care and subsequently discharged to continue her recovery in her hometown of Denizli. Prosecutors have issued instructions to take her formal statement as part of the ongoing investigation.
