Istanbul driver arrested for slashing tires during road rage

A driver identified as O. Ç. has been arrested in Esenyurt, Istanbul, following a road rage incident. On August 18, a dispute occurred between O. Ç. and another driver, A. M. A. S., while both were traveling in their vehicles.

Following the argument, O. Ç. reportedly pursued the other vehicle and blocked its path in the Selahaddin Eyyübi neighborhood. The suspect then exited his vehicle and used a knife to puncture the tires of A. M. A. S.’s car. Following an investigation by the Büyükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, O. Ç. was taken into custody and arrested on charges including deprivation of liberty and the unlawful interception or detention of a transport vehicle.
