Istanbul drivers fined 360,000 Lira after Kağıthane road rage fight

In the Kağıthane district of Istanbul, a violent confrontation between two drivers escalated after they blocked the road and exited their vehicles to engage in an armed fight. The incident, which occurred in the Hamidiye neighborhood, was captured by bystanders on mobile phone cameras.

Following an investigation, the Kağıthane Traffic Inspection Bureau issued fines totaling 360,000 Turkish Lira, with each driver receiving a 180,000 Lira penalty for following another vehicle with the intent to attack and exiting the vehicle for that purpose. Additionally, both drivers had their licenses confiscated for 60 days, and their vehicles were banned from traffic for the same duration.
