Istanbul Fitness Week to host championships and wellness industry leaders

Istanbul Fitness Week is scheduled to take place from August 27 to August 30 at the Dr. Mimar Kadir Topbaş Show and Art Center. Organized by the Turkish Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, the event brings together the sports, fitness, wellness, and sports technology sectors.

The program includes the Turkish Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship and national team selections for the World Championship. Competitions will feature various categories, including youth, adult, master, and wheelchair bodybuilding. On August 30, international events such as the IFBB Semi Pro and the first-ever IFBB World Fitness Sports Games in Turkey will take place, with a total of 26 Pro Cards to be distributed.

The event also serves as a hub for the wellness industry, which the Global Wellness Institute projects will grow from $6.8 trillion in 2024 to $9.8 trillion by 2029. The week will feature approximately 150 companies and 250 participants, including equipment manufacturers and nutrition providers.
