Istanbul food industry trade fairs prepare for major 2026 expansions

Major food and bakery industry trade fairs are set to expand their presence in Istanbul. DFN Grup has announced its participation in the Foodist İstanbul event, scheduled for September 1–4, 2026, at the TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center. The group will showcase its brands, including Sadık Amca, Franua, and Hatice Teyze, focusing on natural and additive-free food products to connect with international buyers, retailers, and HORECA professionals.

Simultaneously, the IBAKTECH exhibition, organized by Messe Stuttgart Turkey Fuarcılık, is preparing for its 2026 edition. Following a record-breaking 2024 event that drew over 92,000 visitors from 118 countries, the fair aims to bring stakeholders from 150 countries to Istanbul. The event targets producers of bakery, confectionery, and ice cream products, as well as machinery and equipment suppliers. Data from previous iterations indicates significant investment interest, with one in ten professional visitors planning investments exceeding 100,000 Euros.
