Istanbul Foundation launches support campaign for female students

The Istanbul Foundation has launched the ‘Sen Oku Biz Yanındayız’ (You Study, We Are With You) campaign to support young women moving to Istanbul for the first time to pursue university education. Officially approved by the Istanbul Governor's Office, the initiative aims to provide housing, education, and book scholarships, while also offering programs to help students adapt to life in the metropolis.

The fundraising process began with a concert titled ‘Şarkılarla İstanbul’da Yanındayız’ at the Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open Air Theatre. During the event, 16 female artists performed voluntarily to support the cause. The concert was attended by various political figures, including Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Nuri Aslan and representatives from the Istanbul Foundation.
