Istanbul man assaulted by relatives following debt dispute

A man named Bedir El Hac was reportedly attacked by his brother and nephews in the Zeytinburnu district of Istanbul following a dispute over unpaid debt. The incident occurred around 01:00 on Wednesday, September 16.

According to reports, El Hac went downstairs to speak with his brother, M. E. H., after receiving multiple phone calls. Upon exiting his building, he was allegedly assaulted by his brother's children using hammers, sticks, and physical force. El Hac stated that while he was being attacked on the ground, a hammer was used against his head. A witness, a motorcycle courier, reportedly intervened to help him.

El Hac sustained significant injuries, including a broken finger, cracks in his hand, and required 12 stitches to his head. He has filed a formal complaint with the police, requesting the arrest of the four relatives involved, and claims he is still receiving threatening messages.
