Istanbul Man Stabs Bicycle Repairman in Küçükçekmece

On the evening of 1 July 2026, a dispute‑related attack occurred in Istanbul’s Küçükçekmece district. Furkan Y. entered the bicycle‑repair shop of Sadık K. on 1st Kömürcü Yolu Caddesi, Söğütlü Çeşme neighbourhood, and stabbed the repairman. Sadık K. received first aid at the scene and was then taken by ambulance to hospital.

Police and emergency services arrived after a call, and security‑camera footage captured the suspect entering the shop and fleeing. Officers located and apprehended Furkan Y. shortly after, placing him in custody.
