Istanbul Medipol University hosts top-ranking YKS students

Top-ranking students from the 2026 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) gathered at Istanbul Medipol University’s Kavacık Campus for a meeting regarding their academic choices. The event highlighted the university's success in attracting high-achieving students, including 27 individuals who placed within the top 100 of the national exam.

Among the notable attendees were Burak Küçükmotor, Muhammed Fatih Akbaş, and Osman Murat Akbaş, who all chose to pursue studies at the university’s International Faculty of Medicine. During the meeting, Rector Prof. Dr. Bahadır Kürşat Güntürk discussed the institution's academic infrastructure, noting that the university serves over 40,000 students with a staff of 1,500 academics.

The students shared their personal study methods and goals, with many noting that they traveled from various provinces across Anatolia to attend the university. Discussions during the event touched upon the importance of individualized study approaches and the ability of students to find success by aligning their work habits with their own natural inclinations.
