The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) City Theatres has released its performance schedule for the week of October 21–26, 2026. The program features six different productions across various stages in Istanbul, ranging from comedy to drama. Notable plays include the award-winning comedy ‘Yoldan Çıkan Oyun’, the Pulitzer Prize-winning ‘Öylece Durur Zaman’, and ‘Haramiler’, an adaptation of a work by Musahipzade Celal.

Other scheduled performances include ‘Maviydi Bisikletim’, ‘Sevgili Yelena Sergeyevna’, and ‘Çingene Boksör’. The week also features cultural events such as a poetry reading of Orhan Veli’s works titled ‘Birdenbire’ at Müze Gazhane on October 25.

Additionally, the Muhsin Ertuğrul Readings program will continue its new season. This initiative aims to introduce young playwrights aged 18–35 to audiences by presenting unperformed scripts to facilitate feedback and discussion. The featured reading for this season is ‘İz’ by Aslı Kaplan, scheduled for October 26 at the Harbiye Muhsin Ertuğrul Stage foyer.
