Istanbul police investigate suspicious death of man in Kurtköy residential complex

Police in Istanbul have launched an investigation into the suspicious death of 43-year-old Mutlu Temiz in the Kurtköy district of Pendik. Temiz, a father of two, reportedly left his home in Kaynarca stating he was going to the market before the incident occurred on July 26.

Security camera footage shows Temiz leaving an apartment building in a residential complex accompanied by an unidentified individual. After sitting on a garden wall, Temiz fell face-down between two vehicles. While medical teams attempted to transport him to the hospital, he was pronounced dead en route.

The victim's family has expressed significant doubt regarding the nature of the death. His father, Abdullah Temiz, noted that security footage appeared to show the companion and site security remaining unresponsive for several minutes following the fall. While the family mentioned Temiz had a history of blood clots in his leg, they are calling for a thorough investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the event.
