Istanbul sets self-control as 2026-2027 educational goal

The Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education has announced ‘Self-control’ as the local target for guidance and psychological counseling services during the 2026-2027 academic year.

The initiative aims to support children in developing internal discipline and the ability to direct their own behaviors. To facilitate this, the directorate has prepared comprehensive materials, including specialized guides, presentations, and activity resources designed for students, parents, and teachers. The program focuses on helping children recognize their own behaviors, manage emotions and reactions, follow responsibilities, and make more conscious decisions in various situations.
