Istanbul University and ÖSYM hire contract IT personnel

Istanbul University announced the recruitment of four contract IT staff for its Information Technology Department, including an AR‑GE analyst, a system specialist and two .NET software developers. The positions will be paid at a monthly gross rate of two to four times the standard contract ceiling. Applications must be submitted online through the university’s Career Gateway within 15 days of the official gazette notice, and candidate scores will be calculated from 70% KPSS and 30% foreign‑language results.

The Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) also opened a hiring round for seven contract IT workers, covering senior software development, software development and mobile‑app development roles. Monthly salaries will be two to three times the contract ceiling. Applicants must apply electronically between 13 July and 27 July 2026 via the Career Gateway, with selection based on KPSS (70%), foreign‑language scores (30%) and a subsequent oral interview. Required qualifications include a relevant engineering degree and three to five years of professional experience, plus documented proficiency in at least two programming languages.
