Istanbul's Esenyurt Art Center Opens, Konya's Selçuklu Hosts 2000s Pop Concert

The Esenyurt Sanat Merkezi, inaugurated in Zafer Mahallesi's Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Park in Istanbul, offers 420 m² of space with two exhibition halls and a conference hall. The centre hosts exhibitions, conferences, talks and educational programmes for all age groups, aiming to broaden public access to culture and art.

In Konya, the Selçuklu Municipality staged a nostalgic 2000s Turkish pop concert in Ecdat Park, performed by students of the Selçuklu Sanat Akademisi. The open‑air event featured popular songs from the era, fireworks and attracted residents of all ages. Mayor Ahmet Pekyatırmacı highlighted the municipality’s commitment to keeping culture at the centre of community life.
