Istanbul's Salt Beyoğlu and other venues host June art talks, concerts and exhibitions

Salt Beyoğlu will hold a public talk on 26 June with artist Yelta Köm, who will discuss her interdisciplinary project "Kentsel Gözetim Bürosu" and the works presented in the "Barajdan Sızanlar" exhibition.

Throughout June, Istanbul’s cultural program includes the Istanbul Music Festival at the Atatürk Cultural Center, featuring the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and performances by Canadian pianist Bruce Liu (23 June) and Austrian violist Kian Soltani (24 June). TRT Istanbul Radio’s Light Music and Jazz Orchestra, led by Cem Tuncer, will play on 24 June, followed by dance events such as Mercan Selçuk Dance Group’s "Dance Gala" (25 June) and the multidisciplinary productions "Öğretmenin Doğuşu" and "Anadolu’nun Genç Nefesi: Bozkır’dan Geleceğe" (both 26 June). Additional concerts, festivals and art exhibitions are scheduled at venues including Lifepark, Rami Children’s and Art Biennial, Pera Museum, Istanbul Modern and several galleries in Beyoğlu, showcasing works from local and international artists into July.
