Istituto Alcide Cervi hosts constitutional discussion on peace

The Istituto Alcide Cervi organized a meeting at Teatro Valli titled ‘Articolo 11: l’Italia ripudia la guerra’ (Article 11: Italy repudiates war). The event marked the conclusion of the first year of ‘Il Presente della Costituzione’, a three-year program dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Italian Republic and its Constitution.

The panel featured Cardinal Matteo Maria Zuppi, politician Pier Luigi Bersani, and historian Anna Foa, who engaged in a discussion with high school students. During the event, student representatives emphasized that peace is a fundamental foundation for the future and expressed rejection of war as a tool for resolving international disputes.
