Istituto Marangoni expands luxury education to cover sustainability, AI and cosmetics
The Istituto Marangoni in Milan, led by director Paolo Meroni, is broadening its curriculum to match the evolving luxury market. New programmes focus on digital design, artificial‑intelligence tools such as CLO3D, sustainability initiatives like the “I am conscious” project, and specialised tracks in fragrance, cosmetics, beauty and hospitality. All courses are accredited by Italy’s Ministry of University and Research and grant academic titles.
Meroni stresses that the school must train professionals for the market of tomorrow, not just today. The institute collaborates with luxury brands to shape curricula, aiming to supply managers and creatives who can handle the shift from product‑centric luxury to experience‑driven services. A cross‑school model also lets students start in Milan and continue studies at other campuses such as London or Paris.
