Istituto Mattei students protest sanitary conditions

Students from the Istituto Mattei held a peaceful protest to denounce sanitary concerns, specifically the presence of rats in the school area. The demonstration began at Piazza Marina and moved toward the school complex.

Following sightings of a rat, the community has expressed growing concern. While a previous deratization effort took place on September 25, the issue persists. The school principal, Rosaria Scotti, stated that the problem appears to stem from external areas, including nearby streets and construction sites, rather than the school's interior.

Students are calling for coordinated intervention from the Metropolitan City and the Municipality of Casamicciola Terme to find a permanent solution.
