Istituto Omodeo students face morning bus delays

Students at Istituto Omodeo residing in Gambolò are experiencing consistent morning delays of nearly twenty minutes due to changes in the public bus route managed by Autoguidovie. The transport company recently modified the route to include a stop in Tromello and adjusted the departure time from Vigevano, which was moved five minutes earlier.

Stefania Pigorini, the school principal, noted that the school has raised the issue with Autoguidovie following complaints from parents. The school administration clarified that delays caused by transportation issues that are not the fault of the students will not negatively impact their conduct records or annual tardiness quotas. Autoguidovie acknowledged the difficulty, attributing it to an increase in the number of students in Mortara this year, but stated they have taken steps to enhance the service.
