Hajduk Split defeats Osijek 4-0 in SuperSport HNL clash

In the fourth round of the SuperSport HNL, Hajduk Split secured a dominant 4-0 victory over Osijek at Poljud. The match was decided early when Etnik Brruti scored in the 9th minute. Osijek faced significant setbacks after Mustafić received a red card in the 34th minute. Marko Livaja scored in the 54th minute, reaching 107 official goals for Hajduk and tying the club record held by Bernard Vukas. Additional goals from Bamba and Šimun Hrgović completed the rout, handing Osijek their first defeat of the season.

In another key matchup, Rijeka defeated Istra 1961 with a 3-2 scoreline at Rujevica. Rijeka held a commanding 3-0 lead through an own goal by Mohamed Nasraoui, a strike by Jakov Puljić, and a goal from Toni Fruk. However, Istra 1961 mounted a late comeback with goals from Hamza Jaganjac and Emil Frederiksen. Rijeka coach Matjaž Kek expressed dissatisfaction with the team's lack of concentration during the final 15 minutes of the match.
