ISU Argeș fines restaurants and market for fire safety violations

Inspectors from ISU Argeș conducted three fire safety inspections on September 12 in Pitești and Bradu. The checks aimed to ensure compliance with safety measures and identify potential risks to people and property.

In Pitești, two restaurants were inspected, resulting in three contraventional sanctions totaling 3,500 lei. Identified deficiencies included faulty electrical installations and failure to verify technical first-intervention equipment, such as fire extinguishers.

A third inspection took place at a temporary outdoor market setup in Bradu following a petition. This inspection resulted in six sanctions totaling 7,000 lei. Issues found included blocked access routes for emergency vehicles due to improperly parked cars, which could hinder firefighter intervention during an emergency.
