Isuzu Motors de México showcases safety technologies at ANTP Congress
Isuzu Motors de México participated in the 10th National Road Safety Congress organized by the Asociación Nacional de Transporte Privado (ANTP). Held from August 24 to 26 at the Instituto Mexicano del Transporte (IMT), the event focused on strengthening road safety in cargo transport through collaboration between manufacturers, authorities, and academia.
During the congress, Isuzu showcased the Forward 2000 and the ISUZU D-MAX SE models to demonstrate integrated safety technologies. The new D-MAX generation features advanced driver assistance systems, including lane departure warning, front collision alert with autonomous emergency braking, electronic stability control, hill start assist, and descent control.
The company employs a layered safety strategy designed to detect, alert, intervene, and protect. Víctor Flores, Product Manager at Isuzu Motors de México, emphasized that road safety is a shared responsibility and that the manufacturer is committed to developing technologies that help prevent accidents and protect users of their vehicles and communication routes.
