Isuzu named official automotive partner for Rugby World Cups

World Rugby has appointed Isuzu Motors Limited as the Official Automotive Partner for the Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 and the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2029, both of which will be hosted in Australia.

Under the agreement, Isuzu will provide transportation solutions for participating teams and the tournament workforce. The company plans to utilize its network of over 160 authorized dealerships in Australia to support tournament operations. The partnership also includes global marketing rights and fan-led activations at host stadium precincts and official Fan Festivals.

The sponsorship coincides with Isuzu’s upcoming 90th anniversary. World Rugby Chief Revenue Officer Michel Poussau noted that the partnership helps unlock new opportunities for the sport as it enters a period of global growth.
