Isybank launches film contest for emerging Italian authors

Isybank, the digital bank of Intesa Sanpaolo, has launched a cinematographic contest for new authors in collaboration with OffiCine-IED and Mastercard. Announced at the Venice International Film Festival, the initiative targets emerging Italian screenwriters and authors under the age of 35.

Participants can submit projects in two categories: feature films and auteur short films. The competition features a jury including Carolina Crescentini, Matteo Oscar Giuggioli, Edoardo Leo, Doriana Leondeff, Bruno Oliviero, and Silvio Soldini. Finalists will be announced on November 30 during the 44th Torino Film Festival, with winners proclaimed in December.

Starting in January 2027, selected authors will enter advanced training workshops led by director Bruno Oliviero. The feature film category will receive artistic supervision from Oscar-winning director Paolo Sorrentino, aiming to produce professional screenplays for production houses. The short film category will be supervised by Silvio Soldini, leading to the production of the short film by OffiCine-IED.
