IT. A. CÀ festival returns to Bologna with peace-themed tourism events

The IT. A. CÀ festival, a responsible tourism initiative founded in 2009 by Yoda Aps, Nexus, and Cospe, returns to the Bologna region with the theme ‘Geographies of Peace: Mobility across borders and cultures’. The month-long program of events spans various locations, including Bologna, Ozzano, Bentivoglio, Imola, Monzuno, Lizzano in Belvedere, Marzabotto, and Monte San Pietro.

Key activities include the ‘Migrantour’ intercultural walk, which utilizes emotional maps to explore different perspectives of the city, and the ‘Abitare il cibo’ participatory food experience. Other scheduled events feature multisensory walks in the Pratello district, urban explorations in Pilastro, and inclusive dance workshops.

In Lizzano in Belvedere, the ‘Riciamo le distanze’ project connects the Corno alle Scale territory with Lampedusa through solidarity sewing workshops and exhibitions to support children arriving on the island. Additionally, the festival offers accessible trekking in Montorio and artistic trekking in Marzabotto, focusing on local history, rural traditions, and urban regeneration.
