Approximately 70% of IT workers report experiencing or having recently experienced signs of burnout, and 53% report high daily stress levels, making the sector the second most pressured industry behind Energy and Utilities.

Key drivers for this burnout include high stress, heavy workloads, unrealistic deadlines, and long working hours. Despite these pressures, the sector shows strong alignment with corporate values, with 86% of professionals finding purpose in their work and 80% feeling supported in maintaining work-life balance.
