Itabira proposes new policy to protect natural water springs

In Itabira, Brazil, a new legislative proposal aims to establish a municipal policy for the registration, protection, and recovery of natural springs and water sources. Authored by Councilman Elias dos Reis de Lima, the bill seeks to create a Municipal Registry of Springs to map locations and monitor conservation conditions.
