Itabirito reaches Brasileiro Feminino A2 final after defeating Minas Brasília

Itabirito, also known as Gatas do Mato, has secured a place in the final of the Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino Série A2. The team achieved this following a dominant 4-0 victory over Minas Brasília at the Arena do Jacaré in Sete Lagoas, Minas Gerais.

After a 1-1 draw in the first leg held in the Distrito Federal, Itabirito took control of the decisive match. Goals were scored by Verônica, Bruna Marques, Luana Rodrigues, and Jú Faria. Although Minas Brasília managed a late consolation goal through Rayla, they were unable to overcome the deficit.

Itabirito now awaits the result of the other semifinal between Vasco and Atlético-PI to determine their opponent for the championship final.
