Itabuna selected for 50 rural housing units

The city of Itabuna has been selected to receive 50 housing units through the Minha Casa, Minha Vida Rural program, a federal initiative aimed at improving living conditions for families in rural areas. The selection was announced by the Ministry of Cities.

The project is the result of collaboration between the Itabuna City Hall, the Secretariat of Agriculture and Environment (SEAGRIMA), the South Coast Sustainable Development Consortium (CDLS-LS), and SMC Engineering Group. SEAGRIMA assisted in community outreach and family identification, while the CDLS-LS provided technical support for the proposal. SMC Engineering Group participated in the development of the housing proposal.

The execution of the project is pending finalization and publication by Caixa Econômica Federal. The initiative is intended to support rural development by integrating family farming, infrastructure, and improved quality of life for field workers.
