Itaipu Binacional provides electric mobility for World Skate Games ASU26

Itaipu Binacional is supporting the sustainability of the World Skate Games ASU26 by providing electric mobility solutions for the event staff. Through its Electric Mobility Advisory, the binational entity has supplied 10 electric scooters and 6 electric bicycles to facilitate movement within the Paraguayan Olympic Committee (COP) premises.

Engineer Luis López Benítez noted that these vehicles are highly effective, with each scooter covering between 40 and 50 kilometers daily. By utilizing micro-mobility instead of fossil fuels, the initiative aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote the use of clean, renewable energy during international sporting events.
