Itajaí initiates public health infrastructure reforms via PPP

The municipality of Itajaí has initiated the development of a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) aimed at reforming and expanding its public health infrastructure. The project includes the construction of new units, the renovation of existing structures and equipment, and the expansion of healthcare services provided to citizens.

The initiative will cover Basic Health Units, Specialized Care Units, and the Psychosocial Care Network. The planning phase involves technical surveys and inspections of local health units conducted by municipal secretariats and technical consortia. The final stage of this diagnostic process will lead to the publication of the definitive PPP bidding notice.
