Itajaí secures JASC state qualifications with two silver medals

Itajaí concluded its participation in the Regional stage of the Santa Catarina Open Games (JASC) by securing two silver medals and two qualifications for the state stage.

In the men's futsal final held in Jaraguá do Sul, Itajaí lost 1-0 to Jaraguá Futsal, earning silver and a spot in the state competition. The men's bocce team also secured silver after a 2-0 loss to Nova Trento. Additionally, the women's futsal team earned a bronze medal following a 1-0 victory over Campo Alegre, also qualifying for the state level.

The Itajaí delegation, consisting of 62 athletes and 19 technical staff members, competed in five modalities: men's basketball, men's bocce, women's futsal, men's futsal, and men's volleyball. The men's futsal and bocce teams will advance to the JASC state stage in Rio do Sul this November.
