Itajaí worker dies after electric shock at construction site

A worker, identified as Artur Felipe da Silva Pereira, died in Itajaí, Santa Catarina, after suffering an electric shock at a construction site. The accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon when a reflector fell from a scaffold, damaging the insulation of an electrical wire.

Local residents and emergency services attempted to resuscitate the man for approximately one hour, but medical teams from SAMU were unable to reverse the cardiorespiratory arrest. The person responsible for the site reportedly felt unwell following the incident and sought medical attention.
