Italac acquires Líder and Tânia brands and A. R. C. assets
Italac, one of Brazil’s largest dairy companies, has signed a contract to acquire the Líder and Tânia dairy brands, along with specific operational assets from A. R. C. Logística e Alimentos. The transaction value has not been disclosed.
The acquisition includes three manufacturing units located in Presidente Prudente (SP), Guaraçaí (SP), and Lobato (PR). Additionally, the deal encompasses milk collection points distributed across the states of São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, and Mato Grosso do Sul. Italac intends for this move to expand its production capacity, diversify its product portfolio, and strengthen its national market presence.
The completion of the deal is subject to approval by the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade) and the fulfillment of standard contractual conditions. Until the transaction is finalized, both companies will continue to operate independently.
