Italia Nostra officially establishes new section in Acri

The Acri section of Italia Nostra has been officially established and integrated into the association's national territorial network. This recognition follows a national announcement on July 16, which also noted the creation of new sections in Silvi and Val di Cornia.

Originating as a spin-off from the Cosenza section, the Acri branch aims to protect and promote the local cultural, historical, landscape, and environmental heritage. The initiative focuses on community involvement to increase awareness and participation regarding local common goods.

A public presentation for the citizens of Acri is scheduled for September. This event will outline the new section's objectives and initial programmatic lines, facilitating dialogue with local citizens, institutions, and cultural organizations.
