Italian 3x3 Basketball Summer Tournaments in Reggio Calabria and Rende

The NTC Summer League returned for its tenth edition in Reggio Calabria from July 4‑6, expanding the event with a dedicated prize pool for the MASTER category. Over 80 squads from across Italy competed on the Lungomare Falcomatà playground, aiming to raise the profile of 3x3 basketball in the south and promote local tourism.

In the neighbouring region, the inaugural Rende Urban Cup concluded at the PalaPirossigeno arena in Rende. The four‑day tournament featured 20 teams, 61 matches and three final categories. Winners were Desaparecidos (Open), Luzzi (Under‑20) and Pagnottari (Under‑16). The event also celebrated the promotion of Pirossigeno Cosenza Basket to Serie C, with local officials highlighting the format’s ability to bring street‑ball energy to the city.

Both competitions were supported by sponsors such as Decathlon, Red Bull and local authorities, underscoring a growing investment in Italy’s 3x3 basketball scene.
