Italian actors Elio Germano and Luigi Zeno receive prestigious awards

Actor and director Elio Germano will be honored with the seventh edition of the “Il Coltello d’Oro” cultural award in Frosolone on November 28. The ceremony, organized by the Municipality and Pro Loco of Frosolone, celebrates the town's historic tradition of artisanal knife and scissor making. Germano, a highly acclaimed performer with six David di Donatello awards, will deliver a lecture before receiving a handmade knife crafted by master blacksmith Peppino Fazioli, featuring a unique gold decoration on the handle.

In a separate recognition, actor Luigi Zeno was honored at the Marateale Talent People Awards 2026 held at the Campidoglio in Rome. The ceremony, hosted in the Sala della Protomoteca, celebrated Zeno's rising prominence in the Italian audiovisual landscape, including roles in Netflix's “Minerva – La Scuola” and various Rai 1 productions. The awards event also recognized other industry figures, including Enrico Vanzina and Noemi, highlighting diverse talents across Italian cinema, television, and music.
