Italian Air Force hosts Rosso Corsa exhibition at MUSAM

The Italian Air Force, in collaboration with the Ferrari Museum of Maranello and the CeSMA Aerospace Military Studies Center, has launched the “Rosso Corsa – Il Mito della Velocità 2026” event at the Historical Air Force Museum (MUSAM) in Vigna di Valle.

The exhibition features a 14-stage journey tracing over 120 years of technological evolution in military flight and sports. A central highlight is the commemoration of the 2003 challenge between an EF-2000 Eurofighter and the Ferrari F2003-GA, driven by Michael Schumacher, which took place at the 4th Wing in Grosseto.

The event includes technical workshops led by Ferrari Museum staff, allowing visitors to interact with specialized equipment. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Air Force General Alberto Biavati, local mayors, and approximately 200 students.
