Italian Army 184th “Nembo” Unit Moves to New Vannucci Barracks in Livorno

A ceremony was held at the Caserma Rugiadi in Livorno to mark the official transfer of the Italian Army’s 184th Reparto Comando e Supporti Tattici “Nembo” to the newly designated Caserma Vannucci. The event was attended by the commander of the Folgore Brigade, Gen. B. Dario Paduano, local officials and veteran associations.

The relocation is intended to improve the unit’s operational efficiency and living conditions without changing its mission, which remains technical, tactical and logistical support for the Paracadutisti Folgore Brigade. The former Caserma Rugiadi will undergo extensive renovation to become a modern accommodation complex, featuring space optimisation, increased energy efficiency and upgraded facilities for soldiers.
