Italian art exhibitions conclude in Bari and Campobasso

Artist Michele Volpicella has concluded his exhibition ‘Architettura della mente’ at the Kalós International Art Gallery in Bari. The exhibition, which ran for nearly three months after being extended due to high attendance, featured Volpicella’s metaphysical paintings characterized by geometric shapes and ‘windowless architectures.’ The display included a unique dialogue with 3D LEGO® sculptures by Flemish designer Dirk Denoyelle.

As a result of the exhibition’s success, a new work by Volpicella has been added to the permanent collection of the Kalós Gallery. The event drew various local and regional institutional representatives.

In Campobasso, the ‘Kintsugi’ exhibition recently concluded at the Circolo Sannitico. Organized by the social promotion association APS Molis, the project used illustration to explore the complex relationship between the people of Molise and their land, touching on themes of emigration and regional identity. The exhibition featured works by illustrators Vincenzo Falcone, Michela Valente, and Laura Zollo, utilizing symbolic imagery such as hand-painted ceramic coffee cups to represent the connection to the territory.
