Italian art exhibitions feature Guidi, Mušič, and Galli

Several new art exhibitions are opening in Italy. In Riva del Garda, the exhibition ‘La pittura tra luce e tenebra’ (Painting between Light and Darkness) will run from September 5 to September 22, 2026, at the Sala Civica ‘G. Craffonara’. The showcase features works by Virgilio Guidi and Zoran Mušič, two artists connected to Venice. Guidi’s work explores light ranging from the lagoon to cosmic dimensions, while Mušič’s art includes landscapes and themes related to the Shoah, inspired by his experiences during deportation.

In Monza, the Musei Civici will host ‘Federica Galli: La natura incisa’ starting September 4, 2026. The exhibition focuses on the work of Federica Galli, a significant 20th-century Italian engraver. Her pieces often feature landscapes, monumental trees, and architecture, including views of the Monza Park and Royal Gardens. The exhibition is a collaboration between the Musei Civici, the Federica Galli Foundation, and the Festival del Parco di Monza.
